Bupa Aged Care Class Action

Echo Law has commenced a class action on behalf of residents of Bupa aged care homes who were a resident at any time between 1 July 2019 and 11 April 2025, and who are alleged to have experienced substandard care.

The class action is based on allegations that Bupa Aged Care Australia has failed to provide its residents with the minimum acceptable level of care required under Australian law, at each of its aged care homes. Bupa’s own reporting confirms systemic understaffing.

Compensation is being sought for group members for breach of contract and of the Australian Consumer Law.
