CASL signs up to the Equitable Briefing Policy

On International Women’s Day 2023, Australian litigation funder CASL has formally signed up to the Equitable Briefing Policy of the Law Council of Australia.
With a team of predominantly women who are considered the best in their field, CASL supports this important initiative which is intended to drive cultural change within the legal profession, support the progression and retention of women barristers, and address the significant pay gap and underrepresentation of women in the superior courts.
Stuart Price, CEO of CASL said “It is important that all businesses lead by example and contribute wherever they can, to drive change. By signing up to the Equitable Briefing Policy, CASL will be accountable and transparent on the briefing of barristers. CASL is proud to support this initiative of the Law Council of Australia.
