Kim holds a BA/LLB from the University of NSW and is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. Following admission and prior to working in the litigation funding industry, Kim worked as a lawyer in private practice, with experience on both the plaintiff and defendant side of insurance litigation.

Kim is proud to have managed the Stolen Wages QLD class action (Hans Pearson v State of QLD), which concluded with a settlement in 2019, and was acknowledged as the largest human rights settlement in Australian legal history at the time.
